    3DOF
I introduce you to my simulator, but at the moment I'm working on a 3 dof.
Hi everyone, I would like to share with you the realization of my project consisting of a 2dof motion platform that will then be converted into 3dof and to publish the following steps in a synthetic way.
    Initial Material:

    Seat with metal frame

    Steering wheel G27
    3 27 "Monitor
    For the platform:
    2 ground motors
    Velleman k8055
    Sabertooth 2x12
    2 potentiometers
    Power supply 12v 50A
ATX 550w Power Adapter for PC
Mounted all and tested motion with two pallets before making the final structure:

Until here everything ok, the realization of the mobile platform.

First of all I recovered a transmission shaft of a panda from which I obtained a cardan joint.

From here I changed the way because I recovered a base already partially built and equipped with a joint:

Now a thousand tests to try to set up electronics and x-sim.

First Problem, too weak engines to move the platform properly, new engines !!

Made of load-bearing structure for motors:

Modified structure to accommodate new engines:

Unfortunately, the sabertooth 2x12 was not powerful enough for these engines, they slowed down.

    Replaced sabertooth with 2x25 version.

    First phase completed !.

Decided to resume the structure, completely rebuilt in aluminum.

This made it possible to make corrections and settings much easier without continuous soldering!

Instability problem at the front, solved with a teflon bar that slides into a support preventing the structure from moving sideways.
