    My Motion Simulator:
2DOF, DC motor, Arduino, Motion platform
I use uno r3, moto monster, 10k cermet pots decent motors and psu
Using Racing Mats 2013 code, with pot pins changed to a0 a1 and added if (gap> routing to 6 positions as recommended for the jittering, changed tol and brake as well

I get lots of jittering with the 2013 code so I updated to the 2014 code and sim tools v2.2,
but i have very little range of motion 1 way on both motors.
I get ex: full tilt down but only 15% tilt up happen right after flashing to 2014 code that
changed the pot pins to a0 a1 from a4 a5.

I re flashed back to the 2013 code and uninstalled sim-tools v2.2 and went back to sim-tools v1.3 with the a4 a5 pins for pots and same thing, I loose range of motion 1 direction both motors.

Its almost like there is a piece of code left over for out of range-shut the motors down, that's not being overwritten when go back to 2013 code?

Any settings I should check, all this is using the audio IDE terminal as well for testing

If I flash to the sm3c and use the windows utility that comes with it, the pots are perfect, center is center and same range of motion forward and back to the high limit that turns the motor off? (Im not using this code because I stack my urduino and moto monster, although i think I may unstack and wire, because this sm3c is very nice utility.

    Thank you for your help.

Sounds like maybe you have some wrong settings for SimTools?
Can you post screen shots of you settings?
I'm sure we can figure it out buddy!

It will do all this without the use of sim tools, EX take pots off motors turn pot to right slowly to max motor moves great, turn pot slowly to left motor stops after 15% and wont come alive again until you manually move it back to range. I can link my .ino file and pics of sim tools

Re-Apply for the DIY license, we are only human buddy.

Do both motors do this, or only the left one?
Does this happen with the SMC3 sketch also?

I have some ideas for some tests, but first let me know the answers to the above questions.
    take care,

Yes it dose this on Both Motors same position.
No on SMC3 Sketch, at least according to the graph it shows the lines evenly going up and down until you hit max limit then turns off motors like it suppose to. 80% travel on BOTH motors using SMC3

This is incorrect, I looked up the correspondence and you were advised on the 24/11/17 that the link provided in the application was to a private PM, not a build thread, and you were asked to update your build thread covering whatever issues and resolutions were covered in the PM and then reapply.

Yes that is your original build thread, as per the email response please update it and then reapply.
