    Hello,

I wish to build a motion platform similar to the CKAS t5 (450kg 2 person).

I plan to use AC motors for the build as they can handle the weight on the platform.

The design of the frame is no problem as I have dimensions of the CKAS platform & the knowledge + tools to fabricate it.

The bit that stumbles me is the electrics!!! Can anyone reccomend a setup that can deal with AC motors? I have only come accross DC wiring diagrams unfortunately.

    Many thanks

I don't have a date or anything, but my ac stuff is built and needs tested (it will work with a ard, simaxe, amc etc)
But I also know of a all in one PCB that will be out soon also.
    Good times ahead my friends!

    Hi Mitchell & yobuddy,
I'm the "guy" you sent the diagram too.
I'll be in touch as I will be ready to start electronics in about 3 weeks. Yes, I am excited - and I'm appreciative of you, yobuddy, for getting the fire built with you're AC wiring diagram.
    Guys, have a blessed one.
    Tom

    yobuddy,
Yes, I know about Speedy. He's just great with the AC format. Has helped me several weeks ago... it's great to have so many talented folks here....especially the electronically minded.
