    Hello,

I have a question on how to correctly level the seat base.
I am using Simxperience Universal seat motion kit ( seat base and dampening bar)
together with two SCN5 100mm actuator length connected to 2 serial to usb adapters and latest simtools

Before leveling the seat base to be level on both sides (front-back and side to side)
what is the best actuator length to be set at? As I am copying all of Simxperience dimensions and engles, they recommend to extend the actuators to 106mm before leveling the seat but I do not understand the logic behind this. Would'nt this tilt back my seat in the normal (middle) actuator position?

Currently I have the seat level at actuator middle point after simtools initialization. Will this be ok and not harm the actuators in the long run? What is the recommended way of doing this?

    -Ahmad

I guess you should set in the seat and extend your legs and see where is the balance point is ...

That makes sense. I think I understand now why SimXperience recommends extending the actuators before leveling the seat.
