    Hi all. I am new to this DIY. I just purchased a few items in order to complete my first 2DOF using 2 unit of Truck Wiper Motor (24V), IBT2 and SMC arduino.

    you will be able to get building with those parts

    there are some good potentiometers that are hall type and have no parts to wear out - check out my F3 build for more detals

    i suggest you get the smc3 programmed and get the motors working
