Hey @RacingMat are you aware that the spanish simulator guy has taken your exact design, renamed it and is selling it on his store and on iracing forums?

    hello @shannonb1 ! :)

Thanks for your warning! I haven't an iracing account... but I see the commercial page on the website and the 3D Quick-Release sold @50€

Sharing my concept and 3D files is fine for everyone to built its own Quick-Release
but indeed not for making money off my back without giving me credits  or part of the benefits...

I have been also warned yesterday by another member of this forum by PM! so I contacted the owner of the commercial website and I'm waiting for a good solution, I'm sure his reputation is something he cares about.

    Mat

So they banned me from iracing for posting about this. If an Admin would ban Carlos from this site I would really appreciate it.

QR3D product REMOVED. I don't want more problems with this.

And for your information, i didn't manufacture this qr. Another guy, Alfonso, a friend of spain, saw the original video and he designed the CAD file from the beginning (without using the original file STL of racingmat) and he wanted to supply this qr for people without 3d printer. (Most of people don't have it)

I wanted to help other simracers without 3d printer and without knowledge , selling this product in my website, but finally, it has been a headache.

    Regards.

You posted one message and for the balance, I'll add mine.
Then for me, it's over as the product is removed.

1/ Helping people is fine! :)
2/ Making money on my design is even possible because I have not patented it, yes.
The guy could have been a gentleman in involving me in the benefits (as I have spent time and money to achieve a working design) because he's using someone else work. But it's only good education...
3/ The main point is that not crediting me as the creator is counterfeiting... even if the stl file is redone! or color changed, or triangle filled in...

For the reference, here are 2 genuine designs of 3D printed Quick-Release:
DSD did this one before me [IMG]
and I made this one without copying neither the principle, nor the accessory [IMG]

It's look like the QR you were selling is the exact copy of one of mine: same principle, same accessory, same form, same fabrication...

    Ok.

But you know that in last photo, you can see the star with solid form. it's improved, because in your design has empy areas. And round piece is a thicker.

No problem, you know that after talking with you, i mentioned your video and post links. But after receving some abuse words and strong language, not from you, but from other guy, i decided to remove the info.

    It will not happen again.

    Regards

Where was there a personal attack? This was a commitment towards a business.
