    Hi @Bordiin, any universal joint from a car drive shaft will do. As shown in your video, a CV joint will rotate
    And has to be braced to prevent rotation. A drive shaft UJ does not need bracing.

    Hi, I have just completed my 2Dof build using wiper motors and similar layout to you.

    Yes I used M8 rod ends (see pic) top and bottom
    screwed on to a M8 threaded bar - cut to length (mine are 400mm each) to give pivot movements top & bottom.

    I also think you need the top mounts on to the seat base raised higher.
    I ideal height of top mount is in line with your centre of gravity, which is the approximate height of your belly button when sitting on seat,
    this will give you a more even controlled roll effect (side to side) with lower power motors.

    As @AceOfSpies suggested any universal joint from a car drive shaft from any wreaking yard would be a far more robust option.
