As I was saying to my friend I believe that having the monitor/s move with you is more realistic as in real life, the car or vehicle won't be moving as much as a sim would need to sim the g forces experienced otherwise. I believe if we were to do it for real and have your head move as much and then use the sim, it would need to be so powerful that you'd need to strap yourself in and beef up the machines so much so!! I think I read here somewhere that the person was thrown out of his rig because of the movement being so violent. Remember people these aren't bucking bronco machines we're building. Gotta remember that most professional drivers, their cars are molded to them so as to be comfortable, efficient in ease of use so they can concentrate on driving.

screens static represent car driving, as your eyes tend to stay on a fixed point on the horizon, while on a sim with screen moving, your eyes do less of that.
Yes we don not need bucking bronco machines, a good profile gives more immersion that screens moving I will add though.
I have had both screen on and off. For me, screens off.

I use a projector and wall when I have to for testing, but most of the time it is the Rift, so no screens for me.

I tried RHM back when I didn't have motion and I never really Jived with it. Although that was VERY early on in its development and Im confident it would be much better now.

Interesting article. A lot to digest, but initially, it makes me think more about what SHOULD happen to makes things realistic.

I use it and it's just great. AC 1.3 required an updated version. Wish it would work with pCars.
On AC 1.3, RHM ONLY works with forcing 32 bit. It does NOT work with 64 bit version of AC.
@Hobbs has been the real instrumental factor in getting me set up correctly several months ago and now with the updated versions for AC.

    Super tool for me.

Thanks Tom for the kind words......I just wish that whoever's responsible for making this happen for AC could find a way to get RHM to work with pCARS. That would make me a very happy person.

They messed up the cameras/World Movement settings in pCARS just before release and it bugs the hell out of me! 3 1/2 yrs of builds and then BAM just before release they messed things up because some change that they made gave them a better frame rates or something.

The RHM app fixed the issues I had with AC cameras, so it would be more than welcome in my books to see it in pCARS. I've made several post in pCARS forums about the camera bugs but I think I might have better luck talking to the man on moon. lol

Had forgot all about the RHM plugin for AC , haven't been running it for a long time but will have to reinstall it and see how it feels with a motion sim. I've found a nicer experience once I turned down the cockpit shake on pCars, but the RHM for AC was always nice when running a static rig.
