If you want the best of both worlds you can now run the Oculus 0.5 and 0.7 runtimes easily. That way you can play ED and AC on 0.5 but easily switch to 0.7 for PCars and others, see here for details and download link: https://m.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/3paivl/rtu_package_to_switch_between_oculus_07_and_05/

Mind you have upgraded to 0.8 runtime so will have to see how that plays out.

0.8 is just out but you don't have to upgrade to it unless you want to, for practical purposrs the dual switching between 0.5 to 0.7 is a pretty good option.

Works a treat. opens 0.8 runtime automatically instead of 0.7 if you have it installed.

I'd saw it some days ago, I have a lot of probs with 0,6 so I switched back to 0.5, I will try it.

EDIT: Nevermind, I didn't saw this automated method, it's much easier! Thanks!

Trouble, it didn't worked for me, it doesn't recognize the HMD and now that I went back to 0.5 keeps doing the same.

Have you tried different usb ports?

Another thing to try would be uninstall, reboot then reinstall.

If any of you use vr game manager, they have added support for runtime switching now.
