    Another small update incoming: So was racing this weekend and One motor kept getting out of sync with the other, took a look and realized the rubber tubbing I had used was starting to fail on me so I finally got off my lazy butt and installed the flex couplers that @Nick Moxley had recommended (which worked our great!). The motion seems so much snappier and there is a lot more subtle movements there to (that or I am just going insane). I believe the rubber was flexing a lot more than I thought it was that or the POTs were slipping before with the rubber. Anyway attached are some pictures of it as well as two small short videos in AC and iRacing. (The videos were taking with the old rubber couplers I used)

    Thanks again @Nick Moxley for the suggestion on those couplers!

    The motion in your videos looks spot on :thumbs

    No big throws, very fluid with the bumps still there to feel them. But that's mostly because your driving reflect to your motion and you drive very smoothly, I like that.

    okay so as most of you know about our recent conversions with @scalhoun i decided to post some quick interim updates on my build. So i designed all my power supply mounts on the basis of my first set of dell 750s assuming the PCBs and internals were the same as the "new" ones however i found out after dismantling them that isn't the case. Some i am currently printing a new external PSU plug mount for case and working on the printed mount for the PCB boards on the PSUs themselves. So some of the final project will be different but just wanted to post what i had so far..attached are some pics of the Prusa i3 printer used for the job as well. sidebar: i just received some carbon fiber filament that will be used for the OSW we are building as well as some teaser templates we made for it.. sorry for the rambling (ive been enjoying the spirits)here are the pics: (not in chronological order) also you will notice the prints for the plates on the case got better and better as i got the printer more fine tuned. All prints in this post were printed in PLA and different infills but all set to .2 layer resolution for you 3d printer buffs out there

    So got the case done *almost* all i need to do is design and print the mounting bracket for the 3 PSU fans that will be used to blow cool air onto the JRKS. I have all the other wiring done inside the box. Got a little carried away with the modular idea and made a custom USB to female molex connector with a male molex that has a connector to hook up to a standard fan connector and a 2pin that connects to the LED HDD light on the front of the case so i know the USB hub is powered on and working as it should without taking the case off any questions please ask. Also i can share the 3d files for the JRK mounting plate and power supply mounting plate if anyone is interesting in doing the same case build with these power supplies. if you want to see something in more detail just let me know. -- been doing upgrades to chassis as well but it still needs some work before its ready for a photo op

    **the top place and how it was done is identical to @scalhoun's design which he has more pics on that on his tread so check them out as well**

    thanks @Archie pretty comfortable saying i think the CV1 is on everyones badly want list, i know the damn this is on mine

    id suggest not buying any upgrades and adding them yourself way cheaper in the end. Auto bed leveling is first upgrade id do here is a good sensor id recommend:http://www.ebay.com/itm/LJ12A3-4-Z-...134?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20cebef75e

    if you do go down the Prusa i3 route just be ready to spend a lot of time with it. Took me 20+ hours to get firmware dialed in and slicing settings to be good...and its still a work in progress getting it just right

    That Prusa is damn cheap (relative speaking), even at the current bad AU to US rate.

    There is a local mob, building this one: http://me3d.com.au/product/me2-single-pack/ but it's ain't cheap, but does come ready assembled and tuned/dialed in etc... Big price difference though.

    okay control box officially finished! got the bracket for the fans printed and installed tonight. Was going to a basic bare bones design; however, since it was the last piece for the build i decided to make it slightly more elaborate, and with my love of honeycomb designs (and the fact the case uses it on the front) made me want to incorporate that in the print as well so attached are a couple pictures of the JRK fans mounted up

    yup, ill share them all here but @scalhoun and i plan on posting a thread with a full parts list which he has mostly done anyway as well as all 3D files we made for the builds we did. Attached are the files i designed ill let him post the plate he made for the keystone and power jacked

    The optional spacer is more of a personal pref. I used the circular support bar that comes with the case to mount the fan mount the spacer just makes sure the bracket doesnt slide to the other side. you can also tape it to one side or glue it from sliding if you want to that is up to the person building it if they want it. any questions on the STL files please ask
