    Hi all,

I finally decided to start building my own simulator. After quite some thinking i decided to go 2DOF way, but 6DOF is certainly my goal at some time in the future...hopefully... :)

I got myself an arduino uno and monster moto some time ago, and managed to got it working with LFS.

First experiment with only surge motion, second with surge and sway combined...i used some of my old Lego bricks to build a model, dc motors and potentiometers were found in old cassette players - potentiometers are very bad quality and not linear, but enough to get the model working to some degree... :)

A few days ago i got myself a racing seat, so now it's time to start building a full sized model... :)

I'll be posting updates on my progress and related questions in this thread as I move along the building path... :)

    Regards,
    Pawks

Nice job man. Looks like a great start. Can't wait to see what you come up with for the full size!

Well, it's been a while now and i can finally say that i made some progress with my rig.
Today i got some steel pipes and started to build steel framework for the top part. It is still a WIP, but i took some pics anyway.
I'll post more when it's finished... soon hopefully, because now i have all the material i need (at least i think i do... :) )

I can say that this project is moving slowly but surely... but at least it's moving somewhere... :)
