    Good to hear this about simulator! How much stroke do you think it's ok ? 150mm ? with 300mm/s speed ? Your opinion will count so much!

    I think the best solution for racing sims is like the scn5/6 actuators can do... So i would say it is recommended to have a stroke of 150mm for the seat mover and 150-200mm for traction's. Therefore the scn5/6 can handle 400 mm/s but not under load... so if you will have linear actuators that will be the best way... but for one scn you have to pay around 400-500€. Read my thread in the motors section, there we have the discussion for the my new sim with the 25:1 mcp motors from pgsaw on eBay or motioncontrolproducts from uk... With them you can hale also around 200 mm/s and a lever of 65mm so you can handle by using an angle of 80-90° a linear movement around 85-95mm

    I think for me is impossible to buy the actuators, i already that prices early and it is so big for me...

    I would buy the actuator, as i need some drives and arduino, i would buy some stepper motor and do it by myself. There are few but good DIY actuators in the forum, did you saw it ? do you think it's a good ideia ? Thinking about 150mm stroke, 3 actuator like the video and 300 / 400mm/s.

    I think i can do it for about U$200 each actuator, with drives.

    What you think about it ?

    I think for a professional answer for your plans i'm the wrong person... because i didn't get time in to inform myself about DIY linear actuators for that case... sry but if you say there are much actuators in the forums DIY category, you should talk with the guys who build them...

    You send me a link to the DIY actuators to show me what you mean ...

    You can achieve linear speeds to match or better SCNs with DC motors and levers, which is why that is a popular cost effective approach to powering a DIY simulator.

    The carbon actuators looks really good and like professional ones, but i think at first they will be overkill of the size and so one for an seat mover and the second the time you need to order all the parts and the work time ... i think it would be better to buy scn's or to use normal motors i called 2 replys before

    heheee...im being silly
    I got given those actuators so I re-motored them and use them
    heres a DC seat mover I had for a while
    I sold it to bring actuators back as they were just gathering dust

    Would inform you, that i'm selling my Sim from this topic. All is included, only the Wheel with padels and the USB monitor was selling seperatly ... So you have to buy an other G25/G27 Wheel and can use this sim. Motion and so one works all fine. The reason for selling is, i'm planing a coplete new sim. Firt of all i decided to reuse the old frame as a part giver... but actually i decide to build something complete new and it will be a pity to destroy this kind of master work. So if someone like my sim and would buy it, please write me a private message.

    The sim is in Hannover (germany) and i can bring it in a radius of 200km. Otherwise you have to inform by yourself how it will work with shipping options ...
