Creating a g-seat stand on a project already existed but changed

I wanted to create a seat jet so I tried some project in the network but with little result I found only one
I measured everything on the card and reported on a wooden panel in scale[IMG]
    [IMG] [IMG]
Then I thought about the mechanical part inspired by some good design[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I thought about the aesthetic finishes now there are still details as hold seats
but this is the result, I took a long time but I'm glad to be on the right track

Hi @spyderwash, great to see you here.

Please do add some detail and photos of your g-seat project, many here would be interested.

    Exceedingly nice job @spyderwash.

The dual use of the motor to driver the lever for the motion plate and drum for the belt tensioner is very neat and a great use of the resources within a limited space.

I am really looking forward to seeing a video of your G-Seat in action when you have the time to do one.

I tried to keep everything in order but now the space is little I have yet to find a way to pass the belts away from the engine and then have to put another 3 or 4 motors to move around the seat and pedals to stirrups and fly but your sim gave me many ideas

    Very good looking results! congrats
Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures

Looking forward seeing a video ;)

it's inspired by the work of Bergison I suppose

Thanks for sharing, I would like to test this type of simulator to see the difference with a 2 dof

Is it less noisy under load?

I've heard from one of my friend that G-seat gives better results than 2 dof. Ofcourse it's something different but it can decive our brain better ;) It's a pitty that construction of GSeat is more complicated than simple 2dof ;/

    Nice work!

is slightly noisy but it was unloaded and uncoated certainly once finished it will be quieter and movements will be slower now was demo with joystick control, now I just downloaded your code h-bridge and I have experience with simtools use a card built by I h-bridge already tested with x-sim, I have to learn everything as the first day of school simtool is a new experience, you can adjust the PID?

the construction is more complicated and spaces are few the next project I will try to use the maxiservo and everything should be easier

It's very simple but effective: there is only a P parameter (there is a ramp on speed depending on position delta inside the code). No need to tweak it really.
No PID tuning. No oscillation or unwanted movement
    :)

I struggle to understand, I have to follow this post?
    http://www.xsimulator.net/community...3dof-motor-driver-and-windows-utilities.4957/

or you just load your code, on Arduino and I h-bridge and attaching photos in the code as it is serial communication? I use large motors at 24v with x-sim I had to work on pid because too powerful and many effects such as vertical force were strong but decreasing the power lost

smc3 is something else (more elaborated but more complex)

    take time to understand Arduino!...

PID is not about power... it's about efficiency of reaching the target without overshooting or oscillation.
For power, you can simply lower it with PWMmax value in my code.

sorry, what does this mean ?

I had to lower both pid that pwm but lowering the pid strength verticala lost definition no longer had the vibrations as precise as with small engines but if I hold a high pid reaction is too strong
