    Greetings,
I’m having a problem with Flight Sim 2004 and I am running Win7 64. The game engine keeps shutting down. I’ve re-installed Win7, and all of the necessary Flight Sim 2004 equip. joysticks, rudders . I even tried reinstalling sim tools 1.2 and 1.3 several times. Still the same.
On the other hand I’ve got a lap top running the exact same set up and a fly hours at a time with no notification!

I am guessing something is going out of range, what are you settings and simulator hardware?

    Greetings Noorbeast,
Thank you for responding. The computer is a homemade one utilizing a ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 mother board and a Nvidia Geforce GTX 600 graphics card. CPU is a AMD FX-4130 quad core processor with 2 of the 4 processors shut down. Installed memory DDR3 16.0 GB. System type: Win7, 64-bit operating system. It was built two years ago, and is “bare bones” except for a DVD burner and USB ports. I am running no anti-virus at this time!

Forgive the miscommunication. I'm using serial communication. The photos should tell the story! I'm using Dimension Engineering devices: Syren 50 + Kangaroo 2 + DeLink per axis. Also have FSUIPC placed in my modules.

Is your rig a traditional 2DOF or something else?

Are you following the manual: http://www.xsimulator.net/simtools-complete-documentation/

I ask because you would normally have the same axis, say pitch, on DOF2 for both axis in the Axis Assignment tab, with the forces running to extra columns, like this:

but yours are set like this:

    Greetings Noorbeast,
My simulator is based on the joyrider concept! A basic 2 dof, one axis for pitch the other for roll.
Just to clarify, the game engine is shutting down! Not the game manager or Flight Sim 2004.

    Greetings,
I believe my registry is corrupted due to the fact I've done multiple installs of simtools 1.2.and 1.3, all of them end with the same ending. Does SimTools have a registry cleaner like the competitor Xsim ?

    Greetings,
I believe the situation is resolved.........I think. In Game Engine, I had the Axis Assignments at 100% . Roll and pitch, surge, and sway all at 100% I turned roll and pitch to 20% and 10% and it works.
