    Hi,
For my 2DOF sim i have maked some panel for switch, command, etc. in very simply method.
I have purchased a alu laminated 4mm (metric measure, i'm italian :p), a program for make Panel (only for printing, or save file for a cnc or plotter format.....) and a hot laminating machine for A4 paper.
The good solution for uniformed black is print with a laser printer.
    I have maked theese panel.....
I have maked two print for panels, one for milling and one for panel.

Well done nice panel indeed. Do you hook them back to a keyboard hack or a dedicated board ?

hi @eaorobbie Only Arduino Mega 2560 board ;) with a db25 for panel, ribbon cable, etc.
The program for communication with FSX has 2 mode to work.
One is a conversion transfer from arduino's serial data to SimConnect directly, and one for conversion arduino's serial data to keyboard commands and send it to any program (i dont use this method)
The program only work with FSX or FS9.

some sw, one lcd 16x2, one rotary encoder and some led's.
In the future i will Upgrade the system with some gauges (with little stepper motor) and Led's display for other control like "Battery Voltage", "Bus Voltage", etc. for the cockpit .
The Program support up to four arduino Board. The BIG module in center of the image is a Saitek MultiPanel non interfaced with Arduino....

The front designer sw is very helpful for dimensioning, positioning elements and print drill point, etc.
If you have a cnc or pantograph the program create file for theese machines!
I use it for my work and for my hobby...

    Hi,
    this looks very nice
Can you give me some more infos? You take the alu plate, put printet out design on paper on top and laminate this together? Is this right? No Problems with air bubbles?
Then i have to check how much mm i can get into my machine.
Or did you screw the laminatet foil onto alu with the buttons.
    Thanks for sharing

Hi, for the sw i used abacom front designer.
For printing a normal A4 paper with color laser printer .The Black colour is unifom without defect ;)
For plastification i use a normal hot laminator machine (like in photo attached) available from any supplier of office supplies.
