    Hello

today I will introduce my latest Project.
I made a complete Roof for my Simulator from a real car!

First I made a mold from my dads car!
    Dach klein.jpg

It was really hard to get it off the car without scratches.

    Here the finished mold

The Roof is made from polyester

If you want t know how this will work have a look on Youtube !
There are a lot of Tutorials, they explain it alot better then I can.

First Test, not bad dach Rig klein.JPG

    Gives a real inside Feeling

The whole Roof is mounted on a rollbar made from PVC Tube

    It took approx. 25 hrs
    Total costs 200€

    Any questions?
    feel free to ask!

für Interessenten aus Deutschland : ich kann für selbstabholer ein Dach anfertigen. Kürzer, schmaler kein Problem!

    Best regards
    Kai

Nice job there, and nice dad for letting you use his car as template.

Porsche would be cool , indeed.

But I want to cover the screens so it has to be 120cm wide.
I measured a lot of cars this was the most suitable.

A windscreen with an higher angle would be better, to safe some room in the front end, but modern cars don´t have those
Possible an old beetle would fit ;D

For a single screen setup it is possible to make a smaler roof out of this mold.
