    ok so far the budget would be ok. These motors are proven and worth the money. If you want to build something seriously these motors should be your choice. On the other hand you can also buy wiper motors but in the most cases they are weaker as the suggested ones. Or you use winches but they will be noisy.

    are the motors strong enough to lift 120+ kilograms?

    if you mean a full lift frame, like you already asked , then maybe 4 with 60:1 boxes on each and 40mm CTC levers, but hard to say.
    As said , it may be easier to set up a 2 DOF balanced rig to start with and then look at another 2 motors later

    Yes, there is an invert motor direction function in the JRK utility program, but thats a while off yet to get set up
