one way to check your motors if they are isolated is here http://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/one-motor-or-two.5390/page-2#post-56753
FAQ's are still down so you have to search or ask for some explanations

on Motomonster, there are 2 VNH chips
and what I thought was that you maybe burnt one of two:
to check that, do you have this weak behaviour on both outputs?

that's a very bad thing you ommit to do this! the only wiper motors already ground isolated I know, are the Smolka.
for all other wipers, you HAVE to ground isolate it...

that's too bad, the FAQ section has disappeared... I remember posts on this subject
@RaceRay : that would be great if you could fix this, thks ! :)

I think a warning needs to be added , Always check for ground isolation when using DC motors, don't believe the supplier , always check, please.
This mistake can be a costly one, ie micro controllers , even game wheels to pc motherboards can be hurt by this.

I agree! I bet I did such a warning in the FAQ but I cannot check anymore...

Hi,I didn't try the other VNH yet. I'll try it later.

I already checked the motor I'm using. Here are some pictures.
There are 5 pins in the motor, and one pin is connected to the motor body. Do I have to cut it off. even it is not connected to the PSU?

yep , not only that you need to check manually that there is no power or gnd leaks to the body of the wiper , for this problem is why I don't recommend people to use them , specially newbies to electronics, the mistake can be costly.

I've tested and checked manually using multimeter and there is no power or leak to the body of the motor. Maybe the problem is the MM.

I remember a cheap 24V Hbridge test that went wrong (some smokes): since that motors kept turning but slowly... maybe it's the same case?

motor 1 and motor 2 have same behaviour?

    Hello RacingMate

A few months ago we corresponded re my 2 DOF wiper motor flight seat.
I am using Win7, Arduino UNO and MonsterMoto with 2 cermet pots.
Thhe sketch is based on yours with a few modifications. in order to fit it to FSX.
The motors control by the sketch is ok, however- the serial monitor's data from the pots is unstable! so it's difficult to calibrate the motors, i.e range limits, mid point etc'.
Could you please advise what is the reason?
Needleass to say that he pots are fixed and the soldering and contact between the pots and pins 4,5 of the MonsterMoto are good.

Here is the datra received from the pots on pins 4 and 5 :
    Motor 1Before 52After 49 polarity: 1
    4 220 5 197
    4 184 5 156
    4 242 5 271
    4 271 5 283
    4 53 5 0
    4 5 5 0

    Thanks

    Dovale

    hello!

    are your cables shielded?

for any other cause, I cannot tell you with so few details.
What "changes" did you do? The problem may rely there because the original code is working fine for everyone.

Maybe you can open a dedicated thread as it's not the same pb as Ralph's
    yours
    Mat

Hi! I already conduct test on the other chip of VNH but the output are the same.
I already cut the wire connected to the body of the motor. Please help.

"on the other chip of VNH"
you mean output A2 and B2?!

by the way, your motor and PSU wires look thin...

@RacingMat yes, the A2 and B2 of MM.
hmm, I'll check the wires amperage rating maybe the amperage rating of the wire is too low.

When I conduct tests before, I've done it in my wooden table and I think that's not the problem yet.

If my MM issue will not fix, maybe I'll buy that one from the aliexpress.

If your motor wasn't ground secured,
then at start or at first change of turn, your driver has blown.
But if motor's case was not connected to ground (wooden table), it should be ok.

Hi! I already solved the problem. It's just the issue with the wire I've used. I just change the wire with higher amperage rating. I forgot to change my wires.

Thanks for the help and advice. I'll finish my sim. :)
