Great to see you have Elite up and running @SilentChill

So many motion choices...so little time.

Once again thanks to @value1 for creating the ED plugin so quickly after the official ED release...just awesome.

Great work! Now.. if only it could be combined with motion cancellation so your in game avatar doesn't move. Something like this maybe? http://www.vectionvr.com/

I have been flogging the motion motion cancellation mantra for some time now, it really is the most challenging issue to be resolved to fully realise the potential of VR and motion simulation.

I am glad Vection VR has been created but it is limited in being dependent on game developers compiling in support. Vection has made that as easy as possible but I very much doubt that will have much impact. It is like expecting all game developers to compile in a solution for motion sims, it just aint gonna happen.

I took Vection VR as an obvious example as it has been discussed on this board before and I don't mean to get into the how to do it in this thread, just mentioning it as it does need to be resolved.

btw: Oculus has - unofficially on reddit - mentioned they own a motion simulator and are working on support for it.

Oh I agree @danalog, Vection VR is the only accessible example at this stage.

    Hi @chris1962
Can you please be more specific? Do you see data flowing in TuningCentre? Does any of the plugins work with your SCN's? Have you followed the SCN settup guide?

many thanks @value1. Your reply brought me to a check of all settings again from the beginning and now my sim works fine so far. At the moment two axis are working (pitch, roll) very good but no other axis. I would like to implement for instance yaw on my traction losss axis without success. Is there something what I have to do in the set up?

Many thanks in advance for help

Again do you see all axis data flowing in TuningCentre?
Can you post screenshots of your Axis Assignments and Interface Settings?

Hey guys! I just got my simulator basically completed (there will be "skirts" on the bottom) and I'm starting on getting software figured out. It's a 6DOF Stewart sim but this video only shows yaw and heave because I had no software configured yet to move it in 6DOF.

Just ignore the logo my Elite Dangerous friends =P

MFG Crosswind, I highly recommend them! I actually painted my sim to match them. =)
