I am located in the US, have been watching the "crab pot" motors on ebay, similar to motion dynamics worm gears. Now that Christmas is over I have been looking to start buying some more pieces and can not locate them. Anybody know of a US of CAN source for these motors

    Thanks
    Dave

anyone have an opinion on gear ratio thinking 25:1, I only weigh 160 pounds (72.5kg) even with seat and if I decide to mount controls to platform should have enough torque to move if everything is well balanced and light enough (ie aluminum structure)

Im 150lbs and run 25:1's My motor's have also wiggled around a buddy who's nearing 300 lbs on a couple occasions, So IMO 25's are more than enough unless your a big guy.

Shoulder mount at rear, yes, full frame ok, but as @noorbeast and @Nick Moxley are running the fanatec gear which is heavy, long term maybe consider this. With lighter stuff like G27, thats fine to use 25:1 boxes, just a lever of 45mm CTC would do it.
If you decide to move it like Noorbeasts rig, then 60:1 boxes with 40mm CTC lever for sure.
Oh and leave the screen off ideally.

Do these motors come with an earth ground like regular wiper motors do?
