    Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a Fanatec CSR Elite wheel in good working condition.
Please let me know if you'd like to find a good home for this wheel :)

I'm also interested in ClubSport wheel base.
    I'm from UK.
    Thanks,
    Tino.

If you wait for a month or so the csw v2 is out so there will be a lot of v1 for sale and the price will drop ;)

    That's the one I'm watching now :)

I'd be funny to put Shaun Cole's preview in front of random people to see how many people would figure out what is the thing he's reviewing :)

I've completely changed my mind and bought used Thrustmaster TX and Fanatec ClubSport Pedals V1.

I'll let you know how they work when I receive them but hopefully this should make a nice budget setup.

I was very surprised to find that Thrustmaster T500RS has DOUBLE torque compared to Fanatec ClubSport Base V1!

I'm not sure what are the specs of Thrustmaster TX motor, or ClubSport V2 Base, but I think
they might be close, or even Thrustmaster might come out on top :D

Not Gonna happen, Bigger power supply on the V2 is pretty cut and dry as to who's got more.

Darin's a goose. The amount of "discussions" ive had with him over DIY parts and software, I have lost count. I dont bother going to that site anymore.

Are we judging motor size based on size of the power brick now :D ?
I'd like to know torque figures, max RPM and wattage on V2 motor (also for TX), if you have them please let us know!

I appreciate motors are getting bigger on wheels, and I suspect there will be disclaimers for possible injured wrists and other muscles from using them at full power.

I was quite surprised that inside sim racing and others (sim pit, sim racing review) never actually tell you how much power certain wheel has.
I only found on forums that ClubSport Base V1 motor is half the strength of Thrustmaster T500. :sos

Judging by their review I would guess that ClubSport was much, much more powerful, but I guess they don't pay for the hardware they review so they can't be objective. :blush

No but its already been proven to be more powerful. 7.3 Nm As per Ekretz who most likely has more knowledge of the V1 than even some Fanatec employees.

    Little reading for ya

    I've already read that thread.
Couldn't find "Ekretz" post, did you have another link in mind?

The very last post on this tread clearly states the flowing:
in other words you need to buy two clubsport V1 bases and combine them together to get the same level of torque as Trustmaster T500 :D :D

Unless you have the figures for ClubSport V2 and Thrustmaster TX motors I will conclude that TX has more power.

I'm sooo happy that I didn't get Fanatec wheel, If I did I'd be hitting my head against the wall after reading that thread :D

    P.S. >1000 poinz! weee!!

I will stick with my DFGT I think. It turns the car in game and provides reasonable force feedback.
Discussions like this need to be kept on IRSTV site. There is more feedback and input there about all the wheels out there, and also biased decisions based on donations of financial assistance towards sponsorship on the site.

Do you really think it's wise to compare the power of a Thrustmaster T500RS that retails for $600 with a Thrustmaster TX that retails for $400 when you don't have the actual specs? While it's possible, why do you think the TX would have comparable power when its only two-thirds the price of the T500? Thrustmaster makes some good products as well as some really crappy ones so you can't depend on the Thrustmaster name alone!

Could it be that you have hit your head against the wall to many times already? :grin
