csp goes hydraulic

    hello,

    next project ist o build a hydraulic pedal system. I try to build it like
    tommy showed in his thread.
    Main question is about the brakepedals: is it possible to increase or to decrease the brake power with the
    Pressuresensor by turning a poti, like on the club sport pedals?? Can I use the poti between the leo bodnar
    5V output and the pressure sensor(is this possible)??

    @tommy06 shows a good example with information too.

    Not 100% but the pressure sensor replaces the pot, but to me the pot could be still wired as normal and the pressure sensors can be a separate circuit that feeds back to the leo alone.

    Don't think combining them would be good, I would keep them separate so games that don't like the read out from the leo, you can still just use the pedal or games that do support it you can bind the control in the game to the leo board and not the pedal.

    but i want to modify my old csp and use a pressure sensor instead of a load cell. but i suspect what work with a load cell must work with a pressuresensor too.

    From a different slant, after seeing the ARC carbon pedals, I modded my G27 brake pedal with some epoxy glue (to seal the stock chamber) and a rubber O ring to create a similar pressurized chamber and a much more realistic brake pedal feel. All up cost, a couple of cents. Having use this for a little while now, my next mod will be to add a rubber block inside the spring to better simulate the last part of brake travel.

    use the Derek speare controller board insted of leo's and you can adjust the range 0-4096 steps with a pot (which is included)

    i try to search for a solution for my lb board.

    after 3 month of working around on my hydraulic pedals they are already finished.

    after 4 years of racing with the good old csp from fanatec i decide to modify this pedals with a hydraulic clutch and brake.
    starting with stand of 4cm x 4cm aluminium sqaure i order the other aluminium parts here: https://www.aluminium-online-shop.de/de/shop-aluminium-kleinstmengen/shop-index.html
    ->round rod with 16mm diameter (same as the csp use)
    ->10mm x 80mm falt rod for holding the round rod on both sides
    -> L form aluminium 5mm x 100mm x 50mm for mountig the mastercylinder brake and clutch
    -> u form aluminium 5mm x 50mm x 60mm for the throttle
    -> 5mm x 50mm flat rod for mountig the slavecylinder
    ----> the length of all the alu parts depends on your own needs<----

    for the cylinders and the fitting parts you can look for tommy thread.

    the adapter (m10 thread on m8 thread) for connect mastercylinder and clutch/ brake pedals i got from a buddy at work.

    left and right on the round rods i drill a m8 thread( clutch and brake) also for the throttle.
    because the big lock ring wont fit in the u form aluminium, i go the fanatec way with some matching sized tubes.

    for electroic i use a leo bodnar board for the pressure sensor, throttle and clutch drive with the fanatec board.
    for the full usage of the fanatec board i mod my handbrake withe the load cell from the old csp brake.
    slavecylinder and fittigs for the clutch are already ordered and wait for assembly.
    the clutch/ brake pedals can be use hanging and standing. all pedals are free adjustable in distance and height.
    since three days i test the pedals on my rig. after that i paint some parts. pics followed.
