I have seen a few people mention the sound levels of the SCN5's. I tend to set my speaker volume level such that the engine and tire noises are close to the same sound level as in a real race car. I am never able to hear the actuators over the game engine sounds.

Here are some SCN5 / SCN6 readings in the most extreme use case. All readings are taken from 1m with the actuator cycling continuously at full speed.

    ---- ---- ------------------------
    55 54 SCN6-020-100AB
    57 56 SCN5-010-100AS03
    64 61 Both SCN5 & SCN6

I need to make some sort of head board behind the head rest with acoustic material to deflect noise.
The noise of actuators ruins the experience.

Agree it becomes annoying , why I like my Big Worm Gears , silent movement at the faster speeds, 1/2 the cost.

Lol I just made a cloth cover. It takes away 50% of the noise.
:grinNot the most beautiful solution but yet very effective noise dampening
