Time to move on to my next project so my sim is for sale.

I have posted various videos on YouTube regarding this project culminating in what is IMO the most immersive Sim available.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxMAmXyz6aI
This is an older video and I plan to upload a recent one this week

I will start with what is included and as of now I am not willing to break it up.
If I find that the whole package is not selling I will consider piecing it out.

You get a Frex inspired frame with 99% of the original Frex frame replaced and improved using 80/20 1.5 aluminum extrusion incorporating a sliding fully adjustable and lockable cockpit section.
The Frame can be dropped to an open wheel racing position by simply removing the outer struts ( I had a more upright driving position as I prefer to rally and it also allows a comfortable position for FSX).

The dome screen is 60X 28 and is motorize by way of an actuator and raises and lowers but this can be removed and the dome can be manually lifted and lowered .

    The Hardware:

Fully adjustable full size simulator frame Constructed of 95% 1.5 8020 extrusions (only the chair frame are still Frex extrusions)

    Frex Motionsim Hardware
    100mm Frex Actuators
    2 - Devantech USB-RS-485 adapters
ECCI Trackstrar 6000 with upgrades and extra Pots and various size Damper Pulleys (This is the upgraded Rally Version of the Track Star)
Momo Track Mod 29 Steering wheel (Open Wheel Racing)
    ECCI Rally Steering Wheel
ECCI 3 Pedal setup (with Clutch Pedal)
    Lightning SST Gear Shift
    Autometer 5 Tach
    Saitek X52 Flight Control System
    TrackIR 5
    Track IR 4
    Ergotron LX Keyboard Mount
Game Time 3d beamer with less than 50 hours since new.
Sony Brava 5.1 surround sound system
Professional grade AV Cables and all Interconnects
And a bunch of extra 8020 extrusions and about 500ml of Goo Paint and various extra bits and pieces

    Games:

    FSX (Full Version)
    Wings of Prey
    RB Rally
    il2 World War II
    Need for speed undercover
    Dirt2
    rFactor
    Grid
    Demolition championship

    Software
    Nithusim correction software
    Frex Motion Sim

    Dimensions

    76 (Adjustable)
    53 (With Outboard Struts)
    27 (Without Outboard Struts)

The sim is in perfect condition and will far exceed your expectations in realism when driving or flying.

I built the sim with the goal of feeling like you are actually in the drivers cockpit as opposed to looking at a flat screen and with the dome I think I have achieved that goal especially when you incorporate the TrackIr 5. I have not tried 3D or first person shooter games but one can only imagine the experience.

The Dolby 5.1 adds another dimension of realism when driving; I mounted the rear speakers just behind the drivers head so the noise from your opponents cars move realistically from the front around your head to the back as you pass
With the added possibility of adding another beamer and the 3D capabilities of the Gametime PJ it just does not get more realistic.

As most of you know these sims are not a toys and require a certain amount of skill to assemble and program.
I will offer help in the reassembly of the sim but look to people on this forum to aid in programming the software

The shipping will be in two maybe three crates I will minimize the disassembly of the frame to ease in setup and the dome will be separate.
Local pick up would be prefered and I am willing to meet 100 miles from Fort Lauderdale but You will need at least a cargo van to transport the sim an SUV will not do it.

The Sim as I have it set up is 76 Long This of course can be lengthened or shortened to fit you driving style
With the outer struts installed it is 53 wide
Without The struts installed (Open Wheel Position) 27

You can assume that the trucking is going to be around $200 with 3 crates and I will only ship to the CUS.

Should you need more info please contact me via this thread or PM me for my email address and I will try to answer all your questions.

I plan to post a final video on YouTube this week showing the motorized dome and various games.

It has been fun and frustrating in the tree years I have been perfecting this project and I would like to thank all those who spent time advising and fixing problems along the way.
Especially Mr. Villers from SimXpereance in getting me started, Goo Systems for their help and generosity and all those on this site answering my questions over the years.

Next project building a personal hovercraft.

I am open to sensible offers
(Total invested…………….. well over $6k but do not tell the wife)

Did you end up selling this? I'm interested in the Dome. I bought your smaller dome a couple years ago.
