You have done a fine job. Well done.
I think great that you have added to the development of the AMC from the pioneering work of Thanos.
His ground breaking work has enabled the enthusiast to make something that equalled or bettered comercially available systems.
Your latest version now enhances this concept and makes it even more accessable to the hobbyist.
I will certainly build one after I finish the Amc1.5b I am half way through

    Hi Everyone, :hi:
I have completed an EZ version of Tronic’s H-Bridge.

Since I do not need to build another H-Bridge, Or can afford it after all the stuff I built last week - lol, I would like to leave the beta testing and Manuel writing up to someone else.

If you are willing to help the community out by beta building and testing the H-Bridge~EZ, and taking some pictures along the way, send me a PM for the PDF layout file.

    List of upgrades:

-Oversize Traces for easy PCB etching and soldering!
-Uses a 120mm fan for a more even heat dispersal (covers the whole PCB), instead of the original 80mm fan!
-Mosfet’s are placed closer together so no spacer’s are needed between the Heat Sync’s!
-Uses all screw terminals so there are no cables to make!
-Has a single power input, instead of having to splice wires too 2 different inputs!
-I was able to remove some of the Jumper Wires for less overall soldering!
    -PCB is only 4.7 x 4.7 inches!

    Here is a preview.

I just wanted to let everyone know that eaorobbie has accepted the challenge of constructing the first H-Bridge~EZ!

He will be taking pictures along the way for me to make a Pictorial Guide on how to put the H-Bridge~EZ together. This is a great step for the community!

If you see eaorobbie on the forums, shoot him big thanks!
    He deserves it!

    Thanks again buddy! :thx:

    Hello X-SIm-ers!

If anyone is willing to make a “How to Properly Solder” Guide I would love to add one to this thread.

It should have lot’s of pictures because allot of our users don’t speak a ton of English.

Also, if anyone is willing to translate any of the stuff I have posted that would also be greatly appreciated.
I will also make sure you receive full credit for your hard work!

I believe having the guides in different languages would help allot of fellow X-Sim-ers!
Sadly, this a part of this project I can’t do

Hi Yobuddy, excellent your work with the H-bridge, it is probably easier to build for those without much experience
The AMC + DSMhb set, stay super compact !!

    Hello Yobuddy!

First of all, I must say that you compact AMC board is great - less parts -less problems :) !

I have one question about connecting you compact board to PC.
In first post you advice to use a USB to serial interface to connect AMC board with PC, and you have
on your AMC board 3 pins with GND, RX and TX.

Because you dont have MAX232 chip, is it possible to connect that 3 pins (GND, RX and TX) direct
with 3 wires on pins of COM port on motherboard (and avoid Usb to serial interface)?

I asking you that, because I dont use a serial cable to connect orginal Thanos AMC board and PC , I use only 3 wires
from AMC ( pins 5-GND, 2-RX and 3-TX) to motherboard internal COM port connector.

    Regards
    Igor

Here's my Dutch translation of the first post (almost not doable to translate all attachments as well ;) but dutchies usually are quite good at english):

-lol)
    - De kleine parallelle LCD print is geïntegreerd; het LCD scherm is nu Plug and Play
    - 100% compatibel met de originele AMC HEX bestanden!
    - Printplaat is slechts 89x89mm
    - Stap voor stap uitleg met afbeeldingen!

    Nadelen:
