    Hi!
This is my first simulator project! The AMC and H-bridge are all done and tested and now i'm welding the frames.

This is the upper frame. Some brackets are missing on the right hand side for the Volvo S80 center console that i'm using to house the electronics...

    Thanks!

Today I have welded the brackets for the center console and I have tried to get all the parts to fit. The amp meters and emergency stop button fits like a glove in the console and the display for the AMC is going to be mounted above the amp meters...

...yes, I do have cupholders and a phone in my sim!
AMC and H-bridge is in a not so well ventilated place but I will cut some holes and add a fan.

The steering wheel angle was ok at first but it's more like driving a truck so... :Einstein:

    Great idea!

Yesterday I worked with fitting the Volvo 740 drive shaft and u-joint. The center of gravity is located directly under my butt and the u-joint will be heavily reinforced to avoid a gay sensation if anything breaks! :D

I've been absent for some time now but i'm back and I will do my best to finish the sim this time! Tomorrow I will try to find my sim in my barn! I hope it has survived... :think
My plan is to change the AMC and H-bridge to Arduino and 2x BTS7960.

Sorry, no updates yet! I have some car issues that I have to take care of. One of my radiator fans on my VW Phaeton stopped working and the starter broke on my VW Passat. :)

That looks to be a long CTC on the lever, what is the measurement from the shaft to the hole?

It's 80mm now but i couldn't drill more holes before I welded. I will drill two more holes at 60mm and at 40mm. One of the three holes should work! :think

With wiper motors I suggest you start with 40mm.
