What potentiometer do you use? Angle, resistance?
    It looks like 300 deg.

270° single turn potentiometer, 10K or 22K linear. To limit the angle I'm using a percent scaler plugin in Force-Profiler at 80%.

I use the LG monitors E2060T. Only two video outputs are available on my laptop. One monitor is connected via HDMI-DVI, the other via VGA.

I have to admit I love the design principles of this build it pretty much has everything and it is flexible enougth to be made to have everything, with some precision calculations, steel, fittings and fixtures it would be all that.

ua6aak please please consider a professional materials build on this project I would love to see a professionally welded frame and fittings of this project I think you are on a winner if you could get rid of the squeeks and the wood. I knew nothing about welding and learn in 1 month all it took was a few online videos an old arc welder some rods a welding suit, mask and a few practice runs with the info I had from online. I now have a small workshop of tools for my build and I am very competent welder also upto 6mm steel thickness. i learn alot from on online.

Hey guys, if the builder is happy with a wood design, then he is entitled to build from what ever he wishes.
Lets see what sims you have built before judging the build of someone else.

    People...
If you can do a better job,Do it!!!
    But don`t comment others design...
He desided on wood maybe for the cost or skills he have...
If you want to see it in metal, make it yourself...
    Have a nice day..
    Michael...

Ps. I weld every thing TIG, MIG/MAG ,ELECTRODES thickness from 0.5 to 30+MM aluminium and stainless steel and steel... practice makes perfect.....
