    Hi,
    I think there is no magic distance ... It depends on which cam view your using, the position of your projector, the size of projection, the resolution etc ... and personnal preferences ...

    I am personnally setted at about 4-5 feet from a 100'' screen using 720p 3D rear projection and it feels amazing ...
