I have just finished Thanos electronics, and have a problem with H bridge while testing it. It works well with little electric motors on 5V and 12V, but with stronger wiper motors it doesn't work. What should be the problem?

I have connected both wiper motors with two chieftec 300W computer PSU directly without electronics and they were working well. Each PSU gives 15A on 12V. But when I connected them through H bridge motors didn't move at all.

You need a big capacitor or battery in parallel for the PSU to hold the load and avoid the safety circuits kick in.

Thanks Thanos! I used two 100uF / 63v capacitors. Which bigger capacitors do you suggest for replace them?

    Hi again!
I am not having success in the test with potentiometers.
Without potentiometer I think it acts as it should, but with the potentiometer it has a very strange behavior.
The motor 2 with potentiometer runs full speed only one direction . :?

The motor 1 stops with potentiometer. :thbd:

Here is the test showing successful programming to Thanos firmware!

Please I would apreciate any help!
    regards,

I've found the problem. H-bridge board doesn't give ground to the motors. I have to bypass it with the wire?

In this picture from the DSMhb_1_2b_solder_guide i got confused when Tronic say to not let each other contact but the image shows iron bolts conecting the mosfets.
The bolt is contacting the mosfets, right?

    regards!

Hey Tronic(Thanos)- I've been a fan of your motion sim since I first saw the videos of it a few years ago. I'd definitely be interested in purchasing one of your setups when they are completed. Great work!

I am not sure if am I on the right topic. I need help! I 'm trying to test AMC and H-bridge in X-sim for the first time. I have effect 25,26,27 in my game profile. When I move slider to left and right of calibration offset of axis motors are moving well(both axis are working good), but when I start the game nothing happens, and wiper motors doesn't move at all. Why? When I move sliders of effects in test plugin in force-sender, values are changing in force-profiler as well, but motors doesn't move.

I've had similar problem, I needed to change the crystal to 18MHz, and it started to work, but I was using generic LFS profile from Thanos (i think it's for JoyRider setup).

    Hi Igor
I'm using 18MHz Crystal and firmware for 18MHz. Maybe the problem is in X-sim configuration. It seems like it doesn't get forces data from games. I 'm still beginner in X-sim and don't understand.

I have installed game plugins(LFS, rFactor, GTR2) properly. As you can see in video values in force profiler are changing while playing game, but motors are not moving, and in the plugin test as well. In the calibration offset of axis motors are moving. So problem is in the AMC for sure. Did anybody have the same problem? Please help!

    Thank you Sirnoname
I made my own profile with 25,26,27,30 effects, and now it works great, except 27(Acceleration & Braking), both motors should work simultaneously, but one is inverted.

    Regards
