Did you try to manually add //./COM6 in the same pull-down menu?

I have a same controller and i also had to manually add the com port.

You will have to try it like this:

\\.\COM6 then click Add comport to list

Try the RegistryCleaner from x-sim (its in the x-sim folder under other stuff) and reinstall the software at latest build.

Did you try other usb ports and reinstalling the pololu software?

should work the only thing i can suggest is the port setting in xsim must match serial port setting in pololu software,
plus sometimes if the pololu software is running xsim cant see the card ?

Hope this helps as i use pololu products but havent tried this only the Serial rc Controller but some times i have to press my reset switch i wired into it (switch its power on and off to set it to awaiting a command yellow led flashing slowly) onto it as the plugnplay in xsim conflicts with it and sends the card into error and the red led flashes brightly.

What lights are comming on and how much volts are you feeding her.
    :hi:

increase ya min and max values in pololu control centre, bit by bit till ya get the range ya need.
