This is a basic question but where have people been sourcing their connecting rods and ball joints between scn5 actuators and the back of their seats on a 2-dof application? Also does anyone know the thread type for the scn5 actuator? My scn5 actuators are in the mail at the moment from Simxperience.

    Thank for any help.

The thread type on the SCN5 is M10 1.25. You didn't fill out a country in your profile, so it will be difficult for anyone to reccomend a source.

Unfortunately I don't kow of a good source for these ball-joints in Australia. Finding these reasonably priced in the U.S. is difficult also because M10 1.25 pitch is rather unusual. You'll probably have the best luck with a European source if someone else doesn't know of a local source.

If you can't find a rod end/spherical joint with a female M10x1.25 thread, then you could buy an M10x1.25 tap (eBay has loads), drill a length of aluminium rod and tap the hole. You could then drill and tap the other end of the ally rod M10x1.5, to fit a male rod end.
