    Hi all, into flight sims and drag racing, mechanic by trade, hobbyist machinist and fabricator. Fell down this rabbit hole after seeing various yt videos of motion setups, given the poor workmanship of some and extreme cost of the other end I came across silentchill's series of his build. Might be 6 yrs old but very informative. Followed the links and here we are.... Given the other engineering I've been involved with this I think is more than achievable.... Much to learn and process :) regards Scott

    Doing some research before getting in too deep is time well spent, particularly with respect to a 6DOF as an initial project.

    Please bounce your plans and shopping list off members before jumping too far down what can be an expensive rabbit hole, if you get it wrong.
