    Hi guys,
I've been having a problem with SimTool 3 and iRacing for about a couple of weeks.

    The problem is this:
When I start a race server, a practice server, or even a test drive, the SimTool application closes automatically, resulting in the dynamics system not working.
If I restart SimTool, the application starts and the movement system works properly.

In detail, what happens is this:
    - I start the PC
    - I start SimTool
    - I start SimPro by simagic
    - I start SimHub
    - I start iRacing
    - I select the server to drive
    - the iRacing server starts
    - the car is on the track and the movement system works.

    PROBLEM
    - I finish driving and exit the server
    - I choose another server and start it
    - Once the server is started, the SimTool application closes automatically and the movement system doesn't work
    - I'm forced to start the SimTool application and everything starts working correctly again.

Every time I exit one server and enter another, I have this problem.

    I've also noticed this situation:
    - The iRacing server is active with the car on the track and the dynamics system working correctly.
    - I press the STOP button on the dynamics system in the SimTool app, the dynamics system stops.
    - I press the PLAY button on the dynamics system in the SimTool app, the dynamics system starts for a moment and then the application closes automatically.

    The dynamics system stops.

Before a couple of weeks ago, everything was working correctly.
I haven't had any Windows updates recently.

Simtool 3 is up to date.

The operating system is Windows 11 Home.

My iRacing account is NOT through Steam.

I still have Simtool 2 installed.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

    Do you need more information?

    Thanks everyone.

SimTools 2 and 3 can run on the same computer, thast is not the cause.

Please post to the existing SimTools v3 thread for dev visibility, attention and advice: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/simtools-v3-public-beta.17329/

Do be aware that iRacing game dev changes have historically been an issue when altered.

    That's disappointing to hear.

I play in VR only and have been trying to find a sim with good clarity. Assetto Corsa Competizione runs without any issues but the graphical quality is not that great and makes seeing corner exits difficult.

Tried Automobilista 2 and much better image quality but getting the controls set up with Moza hardware is a PIA.

When using AC Content Manager it will launch fine and works properly if not running it in VR. But as soon as I try to run it in VR the wheel and pedals no longer work.

That outcome could also be hardware related, such as electrical interference or USB controller overload leading to SimTools crashes: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-usb-issues-can-cause-crashes.313/

    SimTools never crashes.

I use a PS VR2 and it's SteamVR that throws the error. You can continue to play the game without issue. It's when you go to change games that Steam has to be re-started to clear the VR error.

I'm hopeful that the new Steam Frame is more polished than what they have now.

Trying to get PCVR2Toolkit installed but fighting Windows 11, doesn't like the .dll extension.
