    Hello everyone,

I am pleased to share with you my new project. I have built and setup a new 6DOF Hexapod rig with rotating actuators controlled by an Arduino R3 Uno card through FlyPT Mover.

    Some adjustments are still needed....

The rig is driven by 6 86HB250 motors coupled to 20:1 planetary reducers and driven by HBS86H Hybrid Servo Drives

I bought all the parts separately and have not yet calculated the total amount. I will do it once it is finalized.
The seat however can be bought on the internet on sites such as Amazon (cost ~$700). There are cheaper alternatives for sure but that one fits better :)

Hello, this is a great project. Do you plan to open-source it?

Sure. Yes I will open source it. In the meantime, let me know how I can help.
Fist thing first, you need 4080T aluminum profile for the base:
    3 pieces 400 mm long
    3 pieces 750 mm long

I will try to make a sketch for you if you need it.

    Cheers

Thank you so much, I would be very grateful if you could. Is there anyone who wants to work on this project with you?

Is its chassis too light, causing it to bounce during movement?

Still, 700 dollars is a good investment to get a motion system; it's much cheaper than the most affordable system on the market
