Hey guys, just put together a new sim rig. I used motors/actuators from simracinglabs, which they claim have shielded cables.

I'm having this issue where I can start up my actuators, but shortly after activating the MSFS2024 plugin my USB devices go haywire. For the most part, they will just disconnect. I have a ton of stuff plugged into this thing, its a full motion flight sim with FFB stick/rudder and touchscreen Realsimgear instruments. I've got 2 powered 10 port USB hubs on the rig with everything plugged into them.

With the rig fired up, and simtools V3 running, everything is fine. But once I activate motion, within a few minutes it all goes haywire. No COM port conflicts that I can find. What do you think? EMI?

Thank you, I will look all that over today. After I wrote this I did some more testing using another motion software. Same exact symptom, everything works fine even with the software on, but the minute I enable motion everything goes crazy. So with both Sim tools and the other motion software as soon as I activate motion that's when I lose all the USB ports. Both of the hubs are plugged into USB 3 ports on the motherboard, and my Thanos boards are plugged into USB 2 ports. I have to do some more troubleshooting this week thank you.
