Hello. I'm helping a mate get a 7d simulator working. It has 6 AC servo drives and Dorna AC drivers.
Did some initial testing and found a Dorna AC servo driver EPS-KA01D2123-6000 which has blown up. Looks like some sort of short an a number of components blown off the board.

The actual servo drive tests ok. No shorts.

Does anybody know if there is a schematic for the circuit boards avaliable - for possible repair.
Are 2nd hand replacements available anywhere?
Or is there an equivalent AC driver that I could purchase and set up to run with the existing servo as a replacement for this one.

    Thanks
Any information appreciated. This is the 1st time I have done any fault finding on a machine like this.

Thanks Noorbeast. The controller on this unit hasnt been tested yet but I believe it is working fine. It is just a repair or replacement for the Dorna drive that actually powers the 220v 3 phase servo motor I am looking for.

    Picture attached.

No idea. I just saw 7d on the software or the simulator somewhere. I'm not sure how is that relevant to finding a solution to my original question. If your trying to work out what the simulator is I can post a name plate from the machine? Please be more specific on what your after. Thanks

It might be 6D thanks for the correction. I willl edit the first post if I can. So have you got anything that can help me to find a replacement AC servo drive for the 6D simualtor. Thanks

there are quite a few servo drives that may be compatible

look at the mige and aasd manuals

some of them use a pwm and direction

    some of them use 0-10v
    some use -10v to +10v

have you tried swapping the drivers over to check its not the motor

Thankyou. I have tested all of the motors for shorts and winding resistance and earth resistance. All tested ok. I could see some slight cable damage (this simulator has 9 seats (I think) so its very large. I think the last person that powered it up did so with one of the cables squashed under the steel frame. Thus the short and the blown drive. I removed the drive and it is definately blown up. I have experience repairing circuit boards and would attempt it and replace the components if I could find a schematic (not likely) and then find the actual componenets I need to replace. See photo. I will have a look at the Mige and aasd manuals as you suggest.
