    Hello everyone.

I have 3 motors run by 3 Arduinos with 3 Sabertooths. With Simtool v3.0, I can't connect to my serials, or I don't know how to test the connections.
I have this, compare to SMC3 doc:

    serial_01.jpg

I have tried all BitsPerSec, all my COM, 2 axis. I tried to test directly from the axis and with forces. Nothing works.

But just to make sure. To test my setting, all I have to do is press "Test Settings" and move "Axis1a", right? Or do we have to do something else to connect to the port?

When I use Mover with those settings, all my Axis are working fine. I know they have different strings editing, but I have no idea what I am doing wrong in Simtools. Here, the "Speed" is at 460800, but it is because 5000000 is missing from the interface. Older version of Mover were working fine at 5000000.

    If anyone has an idea.
    Pierre.

The pictures are shown to be using different Comm ports, are the Arduinos actually on that port?

Via the Windows menu please check and post a picture of the Comm ports in Devices.

Only one bit of software can access a Comm port.

Sometimes Firewalls and Anti-Virus interfere with communications of newly installed software.

I'm not at my computer right now, but I know that I use PORT 3-4 and 5. Like I said, I tested them all. Il get a picture when I can.
Windows defender could be the problem. I'll have to check that. Maybe running with admin privileges...
    Thanks.
