    Hello,

I was last active a couple of years ago and my simulator was collecting dust in an corner.
Now it's time to maybe give it to a friend so he can build a new rig with all the Hardware like Motors, controller etc.

As far as i am aware in the past you could purchase a licence for simtools with coins from the forum or it was free. I did not remember.
After reading, if I understand correctly this is gone and you need to purchase a licence now.

Is there any way to test if my hardware is still working as intended before buying the licence?
As my friend is a student with less money, he can only afford a licence, but no additional hardware. So it would be nice to know if the hardware tha i will gift to him works before he buys the licence.

Or is it possible to reuse my licence i got back in the past when i applyed for a free one by building my sim? The problem is i didn't have the pc anymore and dont know where this licence could be.

    Hello,

my friend now purchased a licence. I want to build some acccessories for him. Is Dash not included in the demo version, or am I to stupid to find in in Sommtools V3 :)

If not, is there a way he can share his licence with me? Becausse I don't want to drive for every testing to his place, nor I want to carry all my soldering and building equipment to him.

I need a proper way to test the Hardware I am building. For me it makes no sense to buy a licence, as i giftet my simrig to him.

Or is it maybe possible to download V2 and test it with the old version?

I thought dash is only avalible in the Professional version. Never mind he bought professional anyways :)

It is sad that Dash is not included in the Demo for testing. Will it work over remote Desktop when the Hardware is plugged in in my Pc and Simtools is running on his pc?

It is not optimal, but would be better than carrying all my stuff to him.

You should be able to interact with his PC as though you are sitting in front of it.

What he could do is have a camera hooked to his PC so you can see it at the same time, though it may be a bit laggy.
