Hello everyone. I have a 2018 model Dof Reality P3 with traction loss and my problems started when the motor 2 (right front) recepticle and the motor 2 power plug melted together and the motor stopped working. I replaced both the receplitcle and the motor plug with new. It looks to me that either the motor shorted out or something in the box controlling motor 2 shorted out. All motors are set with the green line dead center of the blue line in SMC3. I have done every SMC3 Utility test available and everything checks out fine, even the bad motor, except it doesn't turn. I have also done other tests asked by Alex at DOF Reality for me to perform and plugging that motor into the connections into motor 1 (left front) connections, that motor does not work. But when I plugged motor 1 connectioins into motor 2 connections on the box and powered it up, motor 1 went hay wire spinning in circles. When I adjusted the colar on that motor, it would only spin 1 direction, no mater the location of the colar. Everything else works perfect except motor 2 and motor 2 contrrols. I know that motor is bad and will have to replace it, but that is not the problem. Something has shorted out in the control box. I noticed when I power on the unit, all 4 power supply boxes green LED's come on but when I power it down 3 of the power supply units led's dim over time but the 2nd box from the left's led, goes out instantly when the box is powered off. The ardino lights up red in the center but neither of the two LED's on top light up under power with the USB connected. I was asked to perform another test by Alex and when I powered the box up to begin, the box did not power up and I smelled wires buring, The black ground wire with the diode connected to the red power supply wires started smoking and the diode popped and broke in half, then the box powered up. The more test he wants me to perform on this thing, the more stuff burns up or quits, Not being an electronics engineer, I ask to send it back in for repairs. He said DOF Reality does not repair any of their products, but he would walk me through to try to find the problem. But emails back from him take days or weeks so I came to you guy's, hoping for help finding the problem with this thing. If everything checks out with all motors on SMC3 and all motors are set correctly, does anyone have any idea what could have shorted out and /or other tests I could perform to find the shorted out part(s) in this box?
I have screenshots of all test performed in SMC3 tests, but they are on my sim computer that I don't have access to today. Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like the control box for motor 2 is badly damaged, likely a blown driver or MOSFET. The burning wires and unpredictable motor behavior show it is unsafe to keep testing, and further attempts could cause more damage. The safest option is to replace the control box.
