    I have old FlyPT, and i need to move all settings to new FlyPT. I am new guy , I am afraid i can do something wrong. Can somebody help ?

    I don't use FlyPT so unfortunately I can't help out.

    But hopefully @pmvcda can give some guidance, when he has a spare moment, as the creator of FlyPT.

    While you are waiting please do check out the guides on the FlyPT page, so that is a meaningful discussion when @pmvcda can find some time in his very busy personal and developer life, as he has done an amazing job creating FlyPT and making it freely available, so you want to be as concise and expedient as possible.

    Hi,

    Send me the setup and I will try to port it to the new Mover.
    For DCS, mover uses a new script to get data. You can install the patch by pressing the pen button
    You can also start DCS in the joystick button:

    In the Rig module the actuators controls are now in a second layer, you need to press the actuators button to see a new drop down to setup the actuators
    Mad this, because the windo is to crowded and that's something we change only once:

    It's missing the images...
    I have a new update coming today. Maybe wait for that one (solved several bugs)

    Thanx!!! Send me the setup and I will try to port it to the new Mover - is it some file inside FlyPT that i need to send or some informatuon about 6 dof platform?? Sorry, didn't understand :)

    With DCS everythink perfect in new version, this why i decide to move to new version.

    In 2.8.0 i cant get telemetry , and i google how to do it and did evetythink carwfully, but it is just impossible to get it work on old 2.8.0 version :) i tryed everythink!

    Yes i found that i need to press button, but in old version of program everythink was different also with other parameters. This 150 and -150 is one parameter what i can set myself :))) problems all others...

    I try to put some settings in new version, what i can see in mine 2.8.0. And 2.8.0 with this settings works and connecting ok. But in last FlyPT if i try to connect my PC with arduinos- my computer restarting ! I try many times. After pressing button "Connect" in Srial <O1> or Serial<O0> computer restarting! Why?! What i am doing wrong ?! COM 10 and COM11 is 110% right ports i check it all the time.

    Looks like i never can use it! It is most complicated and never work program i ever see in my life!

    Is it possible to use some different program with normal interface and with no patches every week? I just want to play DCS. That everything I need. Please someone can give me the way how to do it ?! SimRacingStudio was perfec program, now i understand how perfect it was. I was tginking that most problem with 6dof actuator platforms is constuction and materials.... but the most problem is soft. I almost not want to try to set it up. My advice to everyone- buy normally dof platforms, not DIY sh#@t of you have money. It is most bad way to have fun- 6 dof diy platform. It is not fun it is all time only problems from all the ends. Buy dof reality and be happy. No fun. No way how tk set it up. Wasted a lot of time and money...., better wqs buy dof reqlity H6. Do not repeat my faults.

    I truly understand your frustration. I'm going through the same process right now having to port settings from the old FlyPT Mover to the new one. And it's a real pain because the file formats are incompatible and you have to start from scratch for some of the parameters.

    But please note that this is voluntary and optional. You don't have to even if everybody is telling you you should always update. No, you don't. If you're not happy with the new version keep the old until you're familiar using it and have some spare time and patience.
