    Welcome @Gerrit Bijlsma.

Refining settings does take a bit of time, particularly initially, as it is part science, part personal preference, and a bit of software wizardry.

I look forward to following your progress on your rig thread.

    Hi Everyone!

I'm Dargelis, an architect from the Philippines with a soft spot for AR/VR, AI, and flight sim.

Bit of a late bloomer in motion sim — I'm currently prototyping a 3DOF using broken RC helicopter parts, a car phone holder, and other studio scraps. It’s a scale model for now while I test the mechanics before going full scale. Huge thanks to @eaorobbie’s 2013 RC Model Code for Arduino UNO - 2DOF - Expandable 2.0 for lighting the way!

Already built my DIY cyclic and collective controls from old joysticks, a monitor stand, and an e-bike throttle. Sharing progress pics of the model 3DOF and the heli controls here.

Really glad to be here (though I registered last August 2024) — thanks for the warm welcome!
