I'm trying to get Star Wars squadrons to work but not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I downloaded the Star Wars plugin V1 and have dragged and copied it to Sim tools v3. I followed the forum of linking the .exe after naming it _oldlauncher. I went to properties and did read only as well. I get this error when I try to run game through steam. 20250810_010417.jpg

I'm having the exact same error, and I haven't been able to resolve it. This error occurs with the Steam version because I downloaded the Armgdon version, the EA Play version, and the Steam version to see if any of them would work. The other versions don't detect telemetry, and the Steam version gives me this error and won't even open the game unless I have SimTools closed.

As already explained the specific error depicted in the initial post results when trying to load incompatible SimTools v2 plugins into SimTools v3.

In SimTools v3 use the inbuilt repository to install the correct Star Wars Squadrons plugin, and if there are issues please post the details to the dedicated v3 thread for dev visibility and consideration: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/simtools-v3-public-beta.17329/
