    Hello!

Planning to build a compact 6dof stewart platform out of wood, and metal... alot recycling... will likely use 24v 250w dc motors, Sabertooth drivers and either Ardiuno or Thanos AMC...

Biggest questions re electrics since I has no experience with electrics... so what should I know, tips and tricks, etc?

If you have no experience with electrics you should use the Thanos. It’s a turn key solution wheee you plug the cables in and away you go.

My understanding is the Thanos is for AC servos not DC servos. Are these gear motors or lead screws? Can you switch to AC servos? Most people use 750W AC for 6 DOF. Same for SFX-100.

AC servos re hard to find in Sweden... and pricey when you want to avoid shopping from the US or China
