Good morning everyone! I'm trying to use the Space Monkey software and Simtools V3's Dirt 2.0 plugin to get motion on some of the games which Simtoold v3 currently does not support. Is there a way I can set the Dirt 2.0 plugin in Simtools v3 to not to auto-start the game? Also, what is the UDP port or how can I find the UDP port which this plugin uses so I can set the correct UDP output setting in Space Monkey. Thanks in advance!

    Hi @Garry Samson,
We wrote a game plugin with space monkey for wreckfest, and found only on completion of the plugin that the surge and sway output is constantly fluctuating, making the telemetry output unusable for a simulator. I don't recall of hand the second game we tried with space monkey, but with that title we go no telemetry at all. So we benched the plugin until a update to space money comes out and fixes the underline problems we found.
May I ask what game you trying to get running?

Hi @yobuddy! First of all, appreciate everything you do in the community! A big thank you on everything and all your hard work in the software and plugin developments!!!! I'm trying to use space monkey for the Nascar Heat 5 game to get some motion.

Am I correct in saying that simtools is the only motion software that allows you to configure fully your own designed simulator.

I noticed in simhub, flypt, raceroom that the simulator arrangements are pre-defined .
so for example the 4dof + surge. everything is done for you but you cannot choose which actuators does heave, surge, sway etc.

I am not sure why these software are so raved about.

x-sim and simtools allow you to add your own actuators and define it in anyway you want.

the only upside I can see from those other software is the "motion compensation" system they have implanted.
how much money would be required for simtool to implement the motion compensation maths?
    I am willing to donate.

I have had enough of trying to get a pimax lol to work with base stations etc.

    Hi @Fahim,
The problem with using the sims calculated location to drive the cancellation from any software, is it takes time for simulator to get into position, so its always going to be a bit off. What we need is the actual current location of the sim itself. We even tested a SimTools driven motion compensation, and we were not really happy with it. We found a onboard tracker solution to be much better.

This is the best solution we have used so far.

I am about to purchase the pimax crystal light with inside outside tracing so i think i can do it without base stations.
