    Hello,

I don't know if this is where I should post this but. Is there a reason why X-Plane is more used than MsFX for DOF motion platforms?

    Thanks!

I am not sure there is any hard data either way, both games have devoted users, outside of myopic hard core users many flight enthusiasts would own both, for casual use MSFS2020 is on the ascendancy since release.

Hello, I have both X-Plane and MSFS. Flying and seeing the beautiful world is MSFS, a good flight model, more precise control and realism of flight is X-Plane. This is probably the reason

And I also think the reason is that X-Plane is used more often - this is the ability to receive and change flight data directly in the program without intermediary programs, this is very convenient. But in MSFS it is necessary to install additional software to obtain data.

Here is one example https://realsimcontrol.com, this site has software and examples of how to interact with X-Plane and build an airplane cockpit without having in-depth knowledge of programming, but simply downloading the software is very easy to configure.
