simtools does not start

    Hello, I downloaded simtools on my win10 pro, the installation went very well...impossible to start simtools even as administrator..

    Thanks for your help, I don't know what to do.

    When SimTools starts there is a splash screen then SimTools minimizes to the system tray. Is that what it is doing or something else.

    The other possibility is antivirus messing with the installed.

    Try turning off your firewall while installing SimTools. Worked for me! Don't forget to turn them on as well!
