    Good evening everyone.

I started building my first 2DOF simulator and, not being very familiar with the electrical part, I ask you for help.
    My configuration is as follows:

    - n° 2 motori della motion dinamic DC WORM DRIVE da 12V, 200W.
    - n° 1 Arduino UNO R3
    - n° 2 BTS7960 43A

What power supply would work for this configuration?
I would prefer to have only one power supply, for both motors, for space reasons.

I attach photos of my work in progress.

I understand the preference for one PSU, but let me flag that our rigs generate significant power spikes in fast reversals, hence my personal preference is to use a PSU per motor, or if using a single PSU consider a battery to take the spikes and a single PSU to keep the battery topped up.

I use modified 600W HP server PSUs on my compact rig, though LED power supplies would work equally well and are often less sensitive to power spikes. I do have some 400W outdoor 12V PSUs I got for our Halloween/Xmas light display and suspect they would work well, but I have not yet tried them.

Thank you noorbeast for your quick answer.
Do you think two power supplies like the one whose image I am attaching are equally good?
    This power supply is a 12v, 400w, 33.3A.

I exclude the use of a battery for reasons of space.

I have no experience with those PSUs but based on specs think they should work OK.

It was just one example. If I use a power supply for LED lights, should I add some particular device to avoid damaging boards and motors in case of power peaks? Do you have any advice on which PSU model to use? Sorry for the thousand questions but I'm a beginner in the electrical field.

Most PSUs have built in overload fail-safe trips these days, check the specs for any you are considering.

Simple fuses are easy to add: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/what-fuse-do-you-need.111/
