    Hi
Is there anybody that could help me on how to make my buttkicker work on simtools v3 pro?
I have finished with the motion stuffs and my buttkicker previously worked as a classic woofer on my optical soundcard output (with a RCA convertor that input the amplifier).
I don't find a tuto for v3 and don't know how to start to link my soundcard/optical output to the simtools v3 ...

I have just one soundcard in my computer and one buttkicker in my setup.

    Thank you in advance!

In the simtools v2 tuto, we can select the sound card here but I can't on v3 ...

    Do you think :
1- I need another sound card to be available in the simtools ?
2- If Yes, a simple "USB->Jack stereo soundcard" like we find a lot on amazon for 10€ is enough? (I have only one buttkicker).

    example:

GameVibe in v3 is confirmed working buddy.
Have you setup a sound card in the interface settings of v3?
    Take care,

    Yep

Pretty much any sound card that can do a 4 channel quadraphonic setup. (for best results)
(I use a 5.1 card and turn the center and sub channel off.)

We can do cheep 3d setups like this.
Ebay 4 channel amp. $55 (last i checked)
    upload_2023-1-19_15-50-12.png

    4 x Transducer pucks ~$19 (last i checked)
    upload_2023-1-19_15-51-7.png
Then mount 2 under (or by) the peddles. and 2 behind (or under) the seat.
    Anyway, chat soon!

Did you set any Hi/Low values for anything?
See here I set up rpm to run between 100 and 9000 rpm
    upload_2023-1-19_21-27-14.png

Then I need to make sure it has volume.

On my side, it's all fine. Setup is finished with all ajustments I like.
Finally I didn' need an external sound card. I use the internal for th VIBE and the output of my screen for my headphone.

After some training, this simtools v3 is really great!
    Thank you all!

Ok, I might be blind or stupid (or both) but I can't find anywhere the Vibe setup tab

    EDIT:
OK, my problem was I had activated on v.3 the DIY licence and not the PRO.
Solved (so, not blind but a bit stupid... :grin)

All I may say, it's not easy to manage that double sound output.
In my case I only use one card (for the vibe), and the output of my screen (I suppose the sound comes through the HDMI).
But last time I upgraded windows I couldn't get the two outputs working at the same time.
After trying a lot of time and browsing all the setups of windows, I had to recover windows to the last recovery point... so it's OK but I don't touch anything anymore.

    Good luck!

Is the sound card listed in device manager and can you play music on it from windows?
