Hello all I have a question.

I am trying to build a micro controller for use with a shifter and pedals and possibly a wheel but mostly just to learn how to build one. When I read the manual there is one picture im not really following. In the attached document on page 7/10 on the left there is a picture of a circuit that is not the micro controller. It looks to be setting up or programming the IC? Am I right to say this?
    Controller_Manual_Ver_0.1.pdf

If this is the case I will need this when building this controller, but I have no clue what the circuit is. Does anyone have any suggestions?

As said in the same page 7/10 you need a PIC programmer. JDM is very easy to find or built, I use a JDM based programmer witch is shown on pic near PIC18F2455 on the protoboard.

Just to keep order, please post on the controller´s thread.

    regards,
