Well well well.... My heart almost stopped when I came across this fantastic news https://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turis...enabling-motion-rigs-telemetry-info-and-more/
As you may remember, I'm a console guy making some plugins for the few games that support telemetry. Looks like GT7 will be my next victim !
Stay tuned for more great news !

    Well :)

Still needs polishing and proper packaging to include the Proxy, but works pretty well.
So happy to have such license with XSim !

As you can see there are many metrics for tires. Was wondering what could be used for accurate traction loss :nerd. Any ideas appreciated here :)

Hi, if there's no actual output for traction loss then is it possible to use the rate of change of yaw relative to speed? I noticed at about 2:08 the yaw angle has been steadily descending as you take the corner then suddenly increases as the rear end steps out then drops back just as quickly before steadily descending again.

Hello ! Time for some news on this plugin. The first version I made a couple of weeks ago gave good results. Now, it feels awesome ! The reason is that I assumed roll/pitch/yaw was provided directly. I was totally wrong. All telemetry data is provided through quaternions...... very powerfull notion, but very complex. So I got help from guys from the GTPlanet forum, to understand all this stuff and change the code accordingly.

And here is the result (including traction loss...) :
    upload_2022-9-1_10-46-59.png

You can already check the proxy part which gets telemetry data and can generate csv files, in addition to forward data to the upcoming GT7 XSim plugin: https://github.com/vthinsel/GT7Proxy
    There are binaries too: https://github.com/vthinsel/GT7Proxy/releases

A video will come soon too.

I pray to God that everything will work out for you, I am waiting for the day when our community will be able to launch its platforms in GT, I am an ardent fan of PS and PS VR. I decided to build my platform when I found out that it was possible to extract telemetry. I do not have the opportunity to buy a ready-made one.

The Simools V3 link in the post shows Vibe support: https://simtools.us/plugin/?varname=30&color=0e97dd

The fully functional Live For Speed plugin is provided with the demo version of SimTools, specifically for testing purposes.

    Hello,
There should be no issues with bass shaker, as I populate the various fields. Not having one myself, I couldnt test for real.
I suggest you go for the simtools v3 as well.

    Hello .
Try in something else than powershell ISE.
A simple cmd window should do the job.
    Happy new year !

hmm sorry for pinging, but I cant edit my posts :/ I tested a random iP instead of my PS5 iP, and I got the same output as I showed you in the screen before (with the satndard cmd of win11). Thats crazy cause thats an iP outside of my iP range : I tested : .\GT7Proxy --ps_ip 192.168.0.109 and .\GT7Proxy --ps_ip 192.168.5.13 and both gave me the same output/result.

Telemetry uses UDP, with no handshake or whatever. So you can put any IP you want, it will alaways give the same result. Check firewalls (including on your windows PC).
Timeout messages can be an issue related to antivirus/windows TAP/VPN interfaces. Anyway, even with timeout you can get telemetry data. That's my case on one of my windows 11 laptops.

hmm, I dont get that thing to work :( I disabled every security releated settings in windows and disabled my AntiVir, but sadly with the same result. I tried already to ping my PS5 in my homeNetwork with success, but everytime I try GT7Proxy I get that timeOut and no Packet iD :/ do you see my router settings where forwarded the UDP ports? Maybe something is wrong there...?
